Former Ray Charles Raelette and Rita of Rita & The Tiaras — an artist whose music sold millions and whose stories captivate readers worldwide.

Rita Graham’s versatile career spans decades of music, in several countries. Beginning in Detroit and Los Angeles jazz clubs, she met Ray Charles in Sydney, Australia in 1967. Ray produced her album of jazz standards, “Rita Graham Vibrations” — the only album he produced for a female artist on his Tangerine Label. Rita was a Ray Charles Raelette and was Rita of Rita & The Tiaras, whose recording “Gone With The Wind Is My Love” sold millions of records in the Northern Soul Market in England and other UK countries since the 70s.
Touring with Ray Charles as a Raelette and featured vocalist with Harry James Band and Mercer Ellington’s Duke Ellington Orchestra earned her deep respect in the music industry as a dynamic performer. As an actor, she originated the role of Coretta Scott King in four productions of the Civil Rights Docu-musical “Selma” in Los Angeles, 1974, and off Broadway’s New Federal Theater, 1983. In 2015, she portrayed Lily King in the family blues film “We Are Kings” opposite the late Blues Legend, Sammy Blue. This foundation eventually opened the door to another passion — storytelling.
Her literary career took form with the publication of Karma Rising in 2011, a supernatural mystery novel that reflects her fascination with reincarnation, history, and human psychology. The story follows Ceeoni Jones, a theater manager who relocates to Starcross, Georgia, only to find herself entangled in violence and murder linked to 19th Century Starcross. Through déjà vu experiences and the guidance of a past-life therapist, the protagonist uncovers a century-old web of intrigue and unresolved karma. A vivid spontaneous déjà vu experience in Manila, Philippines in 1973 inspired the Karma Rising story.

What Is Past Life Regression?

In Past Life Regression, one method is that the Past Life Therapist relaxes the subject into a light twilight sleep state, then asks, “What is in your deeper mind that is affecting your life now?” Most people immediately re-live stressful, emotional scenes from another lifetime they believe they have lived, in another time, in another place, in another body.
